Not everyone stuck through the 39-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.
The Aguas Buenas Mulos took Ciales pitcher José Peralta's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Parque de Aguas Buenas. The final score had Aguas Buenas getting past the Galanes, 8-5. Peralta went 7 innings and allowed 8 runs, striking out 3. The third-place Mulos now have a win-loss record of 69-79.
Aguas Buenas designated hitter Pío Corona helped the Mulos go up, 7-5, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Corona hit a 2-run single off Ciales pitcher José Peralta.
Corona told the Aguas Buenas Herald: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
